A modern residential area named Angren City is set to be constructed in Angren, covering an area of 35 hectares. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent region's khokimiyat.

Construction work is expected to commence in 2025. The project includes 41 apartment buildings with heights of 9, 12, 14, and 16 floors, which will house a total of 2,810 apartments.

Additionally, Angren City will feature a school, kindergarten, clinic, social service institutions, and entertainment facilities. According to estimates, over 400 jobs will be created within the neighborhood, and the volume of services provided will exceed 1.5 billion sums.

The estimated cost for the first phase of work, which includes the construction of engineering communications, is 96 billion sums.

At the end of June, the Strategic Development Agency presented proposals for utilizing "growth points" in Angren. Among these are the modernization of the "ARK" substation, restoration of clinical facilities, and the construction of a $70 million tourist ski cluster.
