In December, "Uzbekneftegaz" doubled its gasoline supply amid restrictions on the operation of automobile gas filling compressor stations (AGNKS), reported the press service of the state company at a briefing.

Last month, the daily volume of A-80 gasoline offered at exchange trades increased fourfold: while in November, 1800-2000 tons of gasoline were offered daily, from December 11 to 18, the daily volume reached 8000 tons of fuel.

In December, 130.4 thousand tons of automotive gasoline were offered at the exchange, of which 94.7 thousand tons were A-80 gasoline. Compared to the same period in 2023, the fuel supply volume has doubled, and the supply of A-80 gasoline has increased by more than half.

Uzbekneftegaz assured that there are "sufficient reserves in the necessary volume" to provide the population with gasoline and diesel. Additionally, the state company has increased its gasoline reserves nearly fourfold to 60 thousand tons.

Moreover, it is claimed that starting from February 19, 2024, diesel fuel prices will be reduced by 15% through the compounding of synthetic components in diesel fuel at the Bukhara Oil Refinery, and the production capacity for diesel fuel will also be increased.

"For the convenience of consumers, the sale of diesel fuel will be organized at exchange trades in small batches. The oil depots under the company's management have all the infrastructure for supplying both automotive gasoline and diesel fuel to consumers, particularly agricultural enterprises," the statement said.

According to "Uzbekneftegaz," there were no disruptions in diesel supply throughout the past year. The issue of meeting the population's demand for gasoline and diesel fuel is under daily control by the leaders of "Uzbekneftegaz" and industry enterprises, and all available resources have been mobilized for this purpose, the state company emphasized.

Earlier, Spot reported that starting January 1, all petroleum products from the Bukhara Oil Refinery will be sold exclusively through the exchange.
