Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to Podrobno.uz, in November of last year, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan increased its gold reserves by 9 tons. This acquisition marked the first purchase since July. The country has now become the second-largest buyer of the precious metal globally, following Poland.

As a result, the country's gold reserves now total 382 tons.
Experts from the World Gold Council noted that, following the current trend, global central banks purchased a total of 53 tons of precious metal last month. Additionally, the decline in prices amid the U.S. presidential elections may have served as an extra incentive for accumulating gold.
