On October 24 of this year, a large-scale event organized by the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was held in the capital.
The event, themed “Together we will build a free, prosperous, and powerful New Uzbekistan!” addressed significant issues outlined in the party's election program.
In particular, the party is committed to striving for a gross domestic product of $160 billion and a per capita income of $4,000 by the year 2030. UzLiDeP will take all necessary measures to transform Uzbekistan into a nation of entrepreneurs and to increase the number of business people in our country by over 3 million. Overall, these initiatives will foster a true competitive environment based on market relations, while reducing the state's influence on the national economy.
Participants of the campaign event were provided with detailed information on the tasks the party undertakes to consistently support representatives of science and the creative intelligentsia, their material and moral support, as well as improving their working and living conditions, and strengthening the material and technical base of cultural and sports institutions, libraries, theaters, and museums.
Over the next five years, the party will also focus on the construction of housing for 1 million apartments, allocating $15 billion for additional housing construction. It will work on implementing a system where half of the value-added tax will be returned to citizens who purchase new housing.
Our party believes that it is essential to create well-paid job opportunities for youth, support funding for entrepreneurial activities, and develop a system of paid internships for students in public organizations. Special attention will be given to building specialized housing for youth and providing annual preferential mortgage loans to 1,000 young families, enhancing the rights and interests of women, their economic, social, and political engagement, and improving women's skills in remote work and digital entrepreneurship.
The campaign event highlighted that the party's election program includes such significant initiatives for the capital's residents as the adoption of the “National Program ‘Musaffo Havo – 2030’” aimed at improving air quality in all regions, particularly in Tashkent, and legislation providing additional incentives for developing the necessary infrastructure for eco-friendly transportation and promoting electric transport.
The election program also encompasses tasks such as strict adherence to working time regulations in all labor collectives regardless of ownership, strengthening the accountability of khokims to the Kengash, increasing their responsibility by implementing standards for dialogue between law enforcement agencies and citizens, effectively turning them into true defenders of the people.
Additionally, there are proposals for implementing measures to drastically reduce road traffic accidents, revoking the driving rights of speeding drivers, and granting the right to claim alimony from responsible parties to individuals who lost their breadwinner due to road traffic accidents and other crimes until they reach the age of 18.
In conclusion, participants were urged to vote in support of UzLiDeP in the upcoming elections.
The campaign event concluded with a concert featuring well-known performers. Attendees expressed full support for the party's goals and ideas.
