The head of state was presented with 11 projects today, totaling 3.4 billion dollars. Investments will come from companies in China, South Korea, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Azerbaijan, as well as local entrepreneurs.
As a result, 23,000 jobs will be created across various sectors including textiles, food, medicine, electrical engineering, energy, construction, geology, services, and more.
One of the projects is the "Great Silk Road" industrial technopark, being developed in collaboration with Chinese investors in Almalyk. Over one hundred projects with a total value of 1 billion dollars will be established here.
In the Zangiatan district, a production facility for medical preparations aimed at treating liver, joint, eye, and brain diseases will be set up in partnership with South Korean investors.
It is worth noting that the Uzbek-Singaporean enterprise Technologies of Real Time in the Zangiatan district will begin producing spare parts for major automotive brands such as BYD, Chery, Changan, Geely, and Dongfeng.
