The press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported that the restrictions imposed last year on the import of dry milk have led to a sharp increase (by 30%) in the import of finished products utilizing it.
Currently, at the request of entrepreneurs, there are plans in Uzbekistan to lift the restrictions on the import of dry milk. To enable consumers to freely and consciously choose dairy products, it is planned to display information on the packaging regarding whether natural or dry milk has been used.
In the Namangan, Samarkand, and Tashkent regions, it is planned to establish testing laboratories that will differentiate the products and mark whether they contain natural or dry milk.
We remind you that we previously reported on how digital labeling and product aggregation are transforming the market.
