In Uzbekistan, the head of the State Security Service has been elected to another position.

According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association, candidates for the position of president of the Association were assessed for compliance with the Electoral Code and the Association's Charter, with the participation of members of the electoral commission.

In accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 30 of the Association's Charter, delegates nominated Kurbanov Bahodir for the position of president of the Football Association of Uzbekistan. Following the election results, Kurbanov was elected as the president of the Association.

It is noteworthy that Kurbanov also holds the position of head of the State Security Service.
