A new Turkish ambassador has begun their duties in Uzbekistan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, officially received the copies of the credentials from the new Ambassador of Turkey, Ufuk Ulutaş.

During the meeting, Saidov and Ulutaş discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbek-Turkish relations. Special attention was given to issues related to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as expanding interaction within the framework of regional projects.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expressed confidence that the joint efforts of the two countries would lead to the successful development and prosperity of both Uzbekistan and Turkey. Bakhtiyor Saidov congratulated Ufuk Ulutaş on his appointment to this high diplomatic position and wished him success in his work.

It is noteworthy that the appointment of the new Turkish Ambassador comes shortly after the arrival of the new Georgian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Davit Kotaria, who has also recently begun his diplomatic mission. The arrival of new ambassadors indicates the active development of Uzbekistan's international relations and the strengthening of its position on the global stage.
