В Узбекистане непроданные госимущества будут сдаваться в аренду с опцией приватизации для предпринимателей.

In Uzbekistan, unsold state properties will be leased to entrepreneurs with the option for privatization.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, starting March 1, 2025, a new decree will come into effect in Uzbekistan. This decree states that state-owned properties with an area of up to 10,000 square meters that remain unsold for six months will be leased to entrepreneurs for a period of 10 years. If the rent is paid on time for four consecutive years, the entrepreneur will have the option to privatize the property, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

The president announced this on February 7 during a meeting focused on the development of the service sector.

These measures have been implemented to foster the growth of creative industries, including IT, tourism, design, and engineering.

Entrepreneurs who train young people in information technology and foreign languages while providing international certificates will receive a benefit — they will not have to pay rent for the first year.

Additionally, in each region, five state-owned properties will be leased to entrepreneurs for the establishment of courses in IT and foreign languages.

Let us remind you that in Uzbekistan, tax benefits for social contributions for service and trade enterprises will be extended for three years, but under new conditions.
