This is stated in the new decree of the President of Uzbekistan, which was signed on December 27.
Specifically, the document extends the zero customs duty rates for 36 categories of food and non-food products until January 1, 2026. Among them are:
meat, including pork (excluding poultry), as well as lard and poultry fat;
canned meat and fish, caviar;
kefir, yogurt, buttermilk, condensed milk;
cheeses, cottage cheese, eggs without shells;
vegetables (onions, garlic, chicory, and others);
fruits (pineapples, mangoes, apples, pears, dates, figs) and nuts;
confectionery, chocolate, jams, marmalades;
bakery and pasta products;
sauces, spices, ready-made soups and broths;
bottled water and beverages;
children's clothing and footwear (up to 24 centimeters);
perfumes, hair care, and shaving products.
The document notes that these measures aim to create a fair competitive environment.
