Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. As of today, nearly 110,900 product items have been marked in Uzbekistan. The Asl Belgisi digital labeling and tracking system has summarized its results for the previous year.

The leading positions in the registry of marked goods today are occupied by household appliances (67.5 thousand items), alcoholic beverages (over 13 thousand), and medicines and medical devices (more than 12 thousand). The regions with the highest number of marked products last year were Tashkent (almost 89 thousand), Tashkent region (about 8.8 thousand), and Samarkand region (over 3.9 thousand).

Compared to 2023, the number of participants in the turnover of marked goods in the "Medicinal Products and Medical Devices" category increased by 35%. Sales of marked medicinal products surged by 19.5 times.

It is worth noting that two years have passed since the start of mandatory marking in this sector. To date, 69 domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers and 395 wholesalers have connected to the Asl Belgisi system. In the segment of medicines and medical devices, the highest number of marked items consisted of infusion and intravenous solutions, while among oral medications, analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs were predominant.

The number of market participants in the tobacco product segment connected to the marking system increased by 15%. Compared to 2023, last year the industry representatives registered 51% more product names in the marking system. Sales of marked tobacco products doubled.

In the "Household Appliances" category, the number of participants in the system grew by 165%. Alongside this, the number of registered product names also increased by 122%. Marked products of local production accounted for 53.6%, while imported goods made up 45.5%. The top three most marked items included lamps and lighting devices, televisions and monitors, and refrigerators and freezers. Last year, sales of marked household appliances were 11 times higher than in 2023.

In the "Bottled Water and Soft Drinks" segment, the number of system participants rose by 58% compared to 2023 figures. The sales of marked products increased by 1,739.7 times. The largest share of marked goods was represented by non-alcoholic beverages (40.1%). In second place was natural drinking water (23.2%), followed by energy drinks (8.6%).

In the "Alcoholic Beverages" category, the number of participants increased by 18% last year. Sales of marked alcoholic products were 2.3 times higher than the previous year. The top three most marked items included strong alcohol, wines, and brandies.

The number of participants in the "Beer" segment grew by 16%. Sales of marked beer products increased by 1.3 times.

According to representatives of the Asl Belgisi system, digital marking continues to be actively implemented, covering new product categories and expanding its market presence. This not only enhances the transparency of trade and accelerates logistics processes but also protects consumers from counterfeit products. Thanks to digital marking, citizens can verify the legality of the goods they purchase using the Asl Belgisi mobile application ( Android / iOS ), which allows them to check the authenticity of products in real-time.

Experts note that the introduction of digital marking is already having a positive impact on the economy by reducing the share of illegal trade and promoting business transparency.
