Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, a project initiated by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is set to launch in Uzbekistan, aimed at training industrial specialists. The initiative includes the establishment of a Training Center and the modernization of regional skill development centers in Tashkent and Samarkand, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

The project is scheduled for implementation from 2026 to 2032. A corresponding agreement was reached during negotiations between the Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction, Batyra Zakhidov, and the KOICA delegation led by the director of the Uzbekistan office, Shin Myung Sop.

Graduates of the new center will have the opportunity to find employment in both industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan and in South Korea.
