In the first nine months of 2024, the volume of microloans and microcredits in the national currency increased by over 50%, according to data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The largest volume of loans was issued between July and September, accounting for over 40% of the total amount.

The volume of microloans increased from 7.44 trillion sums to 12.26 trillion sums.

The peak volume of microloans was recorded in June, reaching 1.85 trillion sums.

In the third quarter, there was a significant increase in the issuance of microloans (+67.2%) and microcredits (+78.1%) compared to the same period in 2023.
