A South Korean company will invest $55 million to establish a caravanserai and warehouses in Namangan.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the South Korean company Ecofarm Global is undertaking two major projects in Namangan, valued at $5 million and $50 million.

According to information from the press service of the Namangan region administration, this was discussed today during a meeting between the governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov and the head of the Lim San Hwa company.

The first project involves the construction of a modern caravanserai, shopping center, restaurant, recreation base, and parking lot along the Namangan – Tashkent highway. It will be implemented on a seven-hectare plot in the Chust district. The cost is estimated at 5 million dollars and will be financed through direct foreign investments.

The facility is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2025. The complex will serve 100,000 passengers annually.

The second project entails the construction of a modern logistics center and a railway terminal. It will be located on a 10-hectare site within the Namangan free economic zone in the Chust district.

This facility, which will cost 50 million dollars, will include low-temperature warehouses and a passenger railway terminal. It will have the capacity to store 100,000 tons of products per year. The first phase of the project is set to launch by the end of 2025, with the second phase expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Both projects will significantly contribute to the development of the transport and trade infrastructure in the Namangan region and are expected to create 150 jobs.
