Здания Минэнерго и "Узтрансгаза" были проданы частному инвестору за 34 миллиона долларов.

The buildings of the Ministry of Energy and "Uztransgaz" were sold to a private investor for $34 million.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, a private bank has acquired the buildings of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and the state-owned company "Uztransgaz" located in the center of Tashkent. The total value of the transaction amounted to 439.6 billion soms (approximately 33.97 million dollars).

The buyer is the digital bank Anor. The decision to purchase was made back in December 2024.

The property is located at Istikbol 21, where the Ministry of Energy is currently situated. It was previously managed by Neft Gaz Bino Inshoat, a subsidiary of "Uzbekneftegaz".

It is worth noting that all ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan are planned to be relocated to New Tashkent. Several temporary administrative buildings have already been constructed there, which the president reviewed in December.

The decision to relocate aims to reduce traffic congestion in the capital and improve living conditions for the city's residents. Currently, national government structures are housed in 22 buildings throughout the city.
