Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, Uzbekistan's gold and foreign currency reserves have reached a record high since the beginning of October, surpassing 43 billion dollars, as reported by a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

According to the Central Bank of the republic, as of October 2024, the reserves amounted to $41.1 billion, and have now increased to $43.1 billion — the highest level recorded since the beginning of statistics.

The physical volume of gold in the reserves is 12 million troy ounces, equivalent to $33.3 billion in monetary terms. The country's currency reserves are estimated at $9.1 billion.

It is worth noting that on October 24, the Central Bank updated the prices of gold bars, and their value has been rising for more than 10 consecutive days.
