In Uzbekistan, plans are underway to establish a college for medical personnel in collaboration with Saudi Arabia, as reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The Deputy Head of the Ministry, Ilkhom Umurzakov, met on January 20 with the Executive Director of Al-Arkkan Training Center, Mohammed Al-Fassam, and the Financial Director, Faisal Siddiq. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in vocational training.
One of the main topics of negotiation was the implementation of public-private partnership projects and support for the development of key sectors of the economy. Special attention was given to training in the areas of food security and healthcare.
Al-Arkkan proposed to open a college in Uzbekistan for training nurses and qualified medical personnel. The process will be organized in accordance with global standards and will help meet the growing demand for specialists in the industry.
The participants of the meeting "expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation and implement joint initiatives." Further negotiations on this initiative are planned to continue.
Earlier, Spot reported that the government allowed employers to conduct final examinations in universities and technical schools.
Al-Arkkan Training Center has become the first organization in Saudi Arabia specializing in training in the fields of food safety and healthcare. The center has been providing training since 2009 for workers in areas such as catering, retail, and beauty services.
