Against the backdrop of Uzbekistan's economic growth, the international exhibition company Iteca Exhibitions has expanded its platforms for interaction between national and foreign companies, enhancing exporters' capabilities to promote their products and implement innovations in the local business landscape.

The year 2024 marked a significant achievement for the entire exhibition industry in Uzbekistan, with Iteca Exhibitions hosting 20 exhibitions, 14 forums, and seminars that attracted over 113,000 visitors. This figure represents a high attendance rate for the past decade, increasing by 8,000 compared to last year. The events featured participation from:
- 4,517 companies and brands;
- 141 speakers;
- 2,515 delegates from 57 countries.

The geography of visitors has also expanded, with 13,894 foreign specialists arriving in Tashkent from 81 countries to explore the market, seek partners, sign contracts, and showcase their offerings.
Traditionally, the events covered strategic sectors of the economy, including:
- construction;
- food industry;
- healthcare;
- oil and gas;
- energy;
- transport;
- textile machinery;
- chemistry;
- machine engineering.
The total exhibition area exceeded 46 square kilometers, with more than half dedicated to local exporters' products. Compared to last year, the share of exporter participation increased by 27 percent. These figures highlight the scale of the exhibitions and the contribution Iteca Exhibitions makes to strengthening national brands, attracting new players to the Uzbekistan market, and fostering competition.

The top five countries with the largest representation at this year's exhibitions were China, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, and Germany, respectively. According to surveys conducted after the exhibitions, 2024 is notable for the influx of new participants—40 percent. For many of them, their introduction to Uzbekistan's economic potential began with participation in Iteca Exhibitions' specialized projects.

Among the visitors were key representatives from the aforementioned sectors, including an average of 83.5 percent of decision-makers who shape Uzbekistan's trade agenda.
5
The unprecedented number of participants and visitors at exhibitions and industry forums in 2024 reaffirmed Iteca Exhibitions' leadership in Uzbekistan's exhibition industry. Events such as UzBuild, UzFood, TIHE, Uzbekistan Energy Week, and CAITME have become some of the largest in Central Asia. Experts estimate that CAITME is the largest exhibition of textile equipment in the CIS countries, while UzBuild has become the largest in terms of exhibition area in Central Asia.

Many exhibitions have become recognizable national brands thanks to fruitful cooperation with relevant ministries. For instance, TextileExpo has evolved into an international specialized exhibition held twice a year, showcasing Uzbekistan's achievements in the textile and fashion industries.
A source of special pride for the company is its membership in UFI—the global association of the exhibition industry. This status guarantees exhibitors that events meet international standards, providing confidence that they are making a reliable investment in their business.
7
In November of this year, Iteca Exhibitions represented Uzbekistan at the 91st UFI Global Congress in Cologne, among 550 representatives from 55 countries and regions. Participation in this major annual gathering provided an opportunity to familiarize with the latest trends and challenges in the exhibition industry to promote this sector in Uzbekistan and enhance the recognition of national brands and industries as a whole.

Demonstrating a commitment to environmental safety, which will be particularly relevant in the upcoming "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy," Iteca Exhibitions can already highlight that it was one of the first to abandon printed exhibition catalogs and plastic badges, transitioned to eco-friendly disposal, and digitized communication processes through Iteca Connect. This application provides useful information for both participants and visitors, including exhibition news, company descriptions, exhibition layout, operating hours, a personal ticket for the exhibition, and the ability to stay in constant contact with industry professionals.

Guided by the principle of "Contributing to the development of Uzbekistan's economy," in 2024, the company reaffirmed its status as a driver of the national economy, transforming Tashkent into a magnet for business tourism. By attracting investors, entrepreneurs, and international experts, the company stimulates the development of urban infrastructure and increases tourism revenue, strengthening Uzbekistan's position on the global economic map.

The impressive results of 2024 laid the groundwork for ambitious plans for 2025—the anniversary season of Iteca Exhibitions. Within the framework of the planned 22 exhibitions and 4 forums, the company will continue to strengthen Uzbekistan's position on the international stage, opening new opportunities for businesses. Iteca Exhibitions thanks ministries and departments, associations, organizers, partners, participants, visitors, and media for their active participation and support, and also congratulates them on the upcoming year, which promises to be even brighter and more productive.
