The private airline My Freighter plans to obtain air operator certificates in Hungary and Saudi Arabia. This was reported by ch-aviation.
The co-founder and CEO of the carrier, Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, shared this information at the Central Asian Summit of Cargo Aviation, which took place at the end of November. According to him, the company aims to enhance its presence in foreign markets.
“New cargo routes will enable us to expand our presence in Europe, South and North America, as well as the Middle and Far East. In the future, we plan to open a new hub in Navoi to supply cargo to Liège and Ostrava,” noted Abdurakhmanov.
Additionally, in the future, My Freighter intends to enter the markets of Singapore, Malaysia, and Pacific nations. Furthermore, regular cargo flights to India and Pakistan will be launched.
To service the new routes, the company plans to expand its fleet to 20 aircraft. According to Abdurakhmanov, five new aircraft are expected to arrive in 2025.
My Freighter was established at the end of 2019. The founders of the company listed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities are Hafizjon Gafurov and Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov. Previously, it operated flights on chartered aircraft from Uzbekistan Airways.
In October 2022, My Freighter received its first Boeing 747−200 aircraft. A year later, in the autumn of 2023, the first Boeing 767 of the company arrived in Tashkent. It was leased from the American firm Cargo Aircraft Management.
