The Asaka Motors plant in the Syrdarya region has commenced the mass production of a new model, as reported by the regional administration.

As of January 23, the production of the Wuling N111 minivan has begun at the facility. This model has been manufactured in China by the SAIC-GM-Wuling consortium under the name Wuling Sunshine since 2012.

The minivan is equipped with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine with an output of 82 horsepower. The average fuel consumption is 6.3 liters per 100 km, with a fuel tank capacity of 38 liters.

Standard features include air conditioning, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and various safety systems. The vehicle measures 3.8 meters in length and is designed to accommodate seven passengers.

According to Avazbek Jalilov, Managing Director of Asaka Motors International, pre-orders for the Wuling N111 are currently available. The model is expected to be released for general sale soon.

In the summer of 2024, the Asaka Motors plant began producing Hyundai vehicles. At that time, six models of the Korean brand were being manufactured: the Elantra and Sonata sedans, the Palisade, Santa Fe, and Tucson crossovers, as well as the Staria minivan.

Previously, Spot reported that in 2024, the production of Cobalt and Onix vehicles had increased by more than a third.
