The decrees of the mayor regarding renovation, signed in August, provide for work on 171.4 hectares of land across six districts of the capital. The decision has faced criticism from the public and political parties. The mayor's office stated that it was made "based on the feedback from the residents themselves" considering the technical condition of the houses.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during the first meeting of the newly elected Oliy Majlis on November 18, called on parliamentarians to adopt a law "On Renovation." His draft was presented for public discussion at the end of July.
Earlier, Spot reported when and how the renovation in the Yuldosh massif is planned to be carried out.
