On December 18, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution aimed at enhancing the provision of government services. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice's legal information channel.

According to the document, the provision of 5 services will transition to a proactive format. In other words, these services will be provided at the initiative of the responsible government agencies and organizations, eliminating the need for individuals to submit an application.

The services that will become proactive include calibrations of electricity, natural gas, hot water, and drinking water meters. Similarly, private employment agencies will be included in the corresponding registry.

Specifically, for meter calibrations, authorized government agency employees will arrive 3 months before the scheduled date to collect the meter for calibration. After the procedure is completed, the meter will be returned to the consumer.

Additionally, 6 services will be provided in a composite format, meaning that a single application from an individual or legal entity will result in the provision of two or more government services. The following packages are included:

  • registration of rights to residential property and registration of permanent residence at that address;
  • registration of a rental agreement or gratuitous use of housing with tax authorities and registration of temporary residence;
  • leasing state-owned real estate (for a period of at least 1 year) and registration of rights to the property;
  • purchase of real estate through E-auksion and registration of rights to the property;
  • obtaining a license for medical activities and permission for the use of X-ray equipment;
  • receiving a conclusion on the suitability of containers for transporting hazardous goods and a conclusion on compliance of means and conditions for transporting nuclear and radioactive materials, as well as radioactive devices with sanitary standards.

Passports for the provision of two government services have been approved:

  • obtaining permission for the production and import of biologically active additives, food additives, and perfume-cosmetic products;
  • issuing a certificate for the export or temporary export of cultural treasures of Uzbekistan.
