Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy S25 smartphone series, which includes the S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25 models. A complete overview of the new devices is available on the company's official website.
The devices are the first to support multimodal AI agents that understand text, speech, images, and video, making interaction convenient and natural.
Key features of the Galaxy S25:
- the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip provides a 40% increase in AI performance and a 30% boost in graphics;
- the interface with the AI assistant Gemini helps complete complex tasks, including searching, note-taking, calendar management, and working with applications;
- the model embraces an eco-friendly approach, as the batteries are made from recycled materials.
The new capabilities of the Galaxy S25 make the smartphones even more user-friendly for individuals with disabilities. TalkBack now supports Braille displays, and LE Audio enhances functionality with hearing aids.
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will be available in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icy Blue, and Mint shades.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a new 50-megapixel sensor and supports 10-bit HDR by default, ensuring rich colors and clarity in any lighting.
Galaxy Log and Virtual Aperture functions allow users to create professional-quality videos and photos, while the Audio Eraser tool removes unwanted noise from videos.
The Ultra model is protected by the new Corning Gorilla Armor 2 coating and will be available in four titanium shades.
The company also introduced the new S25 Edge model, which has become the thinnest device in the series. Although the phone has not yet gone on sale, the first images of the model were presented at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has a thickness of just 6.4 mm, significantly thinner than the standard Galaxy S25 (7.2 mm). The smartphone features two cameras on the rear panel, unlike the three found in other models in the series.
All devices will receive 6 months of free access to Gemini Advanced and 2 TB of cloud storage.
Samsung also offers seven years of OS updates and security for all series devices, ensuring a long lifespan. Additionally, a new Galaxy Club subscription is available to simplify device updates.
