The Russian airline UVT Aero is launching flights on the route Nizhnekamsk – Tashkent. This was announced by the administration of the Nizhnekamsk Begishevo airport.
Flights will be operated on CRJ-200 aircraft every Monday. The first flight is scheduled for December 23.
The aircraft will arrive from the capital of Uzbekistan in Nizhnekamsk at 10:40, and will depart back at 11:40.
UVT Aero received permission to operate flights to Uzbekistan in August 2023. Less than a month later, the carrier began weekly flights on the Kazan – Samarkand – Kazan route.
This winter, it became known about plans to launch flights to Tashkent and Bukhara. Since July, the company has started operating flights from Kazan to Tashkent on the night from Sunday to Monday.
Previously, Spot reported that the Saudi airline flyadeal launched flights from Jeddah to Tashkent.
The regional airline UVT Aero was established in 2015. The carrier is based in Kazan and operates flights from Tatarstan and nearby regions to other cities in Russia, and since 2017, also abroad. The airline's fleet consists of CRJ-200 aircraft from Canadian Bombardier, designed for distances of up to 2600 km.
