On November 28, temporary power outages are expected in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, as reported by the press service of "Tashgorenergoset."

Electricity supply will be suspended for network repairs and to prevent emergency situations. The neighborhoods affected will include "Jami," "Iftikhor," "Registon," "Turkkurghan," "Usta Shirin," and "Yangiaryk" from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Since the summer of 2023, a large-scale modernization of the power grid has been ongoing in the capital. In June, the most extensive rolling blackouts of the season occurred— for instance, on June 8, eight districts lost electricity.

Last August, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the transition of the energy sector leadership to an emergency operational mode. The president urged officials to take urgent action to prepare the energy system for the autumn-winter period.
