In Uzbekistan, the supply of natural gas has been restricted for certain wholesale consumers, as reported by the press service of "Hududgazta'minot."
On Monday, UzGasTrade, which is engaged in the import and export of gas, warned of a decrease in pressure in the main gas pipelines due to ongoing work to resolve an emergency situation.
“In this regard, considering that providing natural gas primarily to households and social facilities is a priority task, restrictions for certain wholesale consumers were introduced on February 3,” the statement said.
Hududgazta'minot added that the emergency situation has now been resolved, and gas supply is being gradually restored.
As noted by "Gazeta.uz," wholesale consumers include large enterprises (Navoi and Almalyk mining and metallurgical complexes, Uzbekistan GTL, the "Uzbek Metallurgical Plant," cement factories, gas filling stations, and other enterprises).
Today, social media reported the closure of automotive gas filling compressor stations (AGNKS) for unknown reasons.
Earlier, Spot reported that BCG has been involved in the development of a 10-year energy master plan for Uzbekistan.
