Official statement from the Board of Trustees of the Ezgu Amal Foundation.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

The Ezgu Amal Foundation consistently upholds high standards of transparency, accountability, and openness. This is why we express our deep concern regarding the recent illegal actions by the foundation's founders.

An illegal secret listening device was installed in the foundation's office, and subsequently, episodes of illegally recorded audio and video materials have entered the public domain. These actions, including manipulation of the content of the recordings, violate the rights and freedoms of the foundation's employees and partners. Furthermore, the foundation's leadership and board members have faced threats related to these illegal recordings over the past year.

We consider such actions a gross violation of the law and the principles of honest public life.

In our pursuit of absolute transparency and the strengthening of trust, the Foundation is initiating an open and independent audit of all its activities since its establishment in 2018. We are reaching out to the competent authorities to engage them in the audit process of the foundation's operations.

The objectives of this audit are:

1. Confirm transparency. Ensure that the foundation's funds are used solely in accordance with its mission and goals.

2. Strengthen trust. A demonstration of an open approach to evaluating our activities will enhance the confidence of partners, donors, and the community.

3. Identify and rectify shortcomings. The audit will help uncover areas for improvement, making our work even more effective.

The results of the audit will be made public so that everyone can access complete and objective information about our activities.

We firmly believe that openness is the foundation of successful and long-term operations for any organization. We thank all our partners, donors, and community members for their support and trust.

Until the audit is completed, the foundation will temporarily suspend external negotiations to focus on ensuring integrity and transparency.
