Erkinjon Turdimov has been reappointed as the governor of the Samarkand region.

Erkinjon Turdimov will continue to lead the Samarkand region. This decision was made during the first session of the seventh convocation of the Samarkand Regional Council of People's Deputies.

Erkinjon Turdimov presented his program for the socio-economic development of the region to the deputies. The candidacy of Turdimov, nominated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was unanimously supported by the deputies.

It’s worth noting that he has been in charge of the Samarkand region since 2018. Prior to this, he served as the khokim of the Surkhandarya region.

The reappointment of Erkinjon Turdimov as the khokim of the Samarkand region reflects the trust of the country's leadership in his professional qualities and work results. It is expected that under his guidance, the region will continue to develop dynamically and address the challenges it faces.
