Alexander Ogorodnikov has taken on the duties of the Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan. As reported in the Telegram channel of the Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, during a meeting, the diplomat presented copies of his credentials.
“We discussed key areas of our cooperation and future plans. We wish the ambassador success in his diplomatic mission in our country,” Saidov noted.
Ogorodnikov has assumed the ambassadorial position, succeeding Leonid Marinich, who led the diplomatic mission of Belarus since 2018.
