Oibek Eshonov has been appointed as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia.

Experienced diplomat Oybek Eshonov will lead Uzbekistan's diplomatic mission in Indonesia.

Previously, he held the position of head of the department for cooperation with South Asian, Near Eastern, Middle Eastern, and African countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2008 to 2017, Eshonov successfully represented Uzbekistan's interests as ambassador to Israel.

It is expected that under Oybek Eshonov's leadership, bilateral cooperation will reach a new level, encompassing areas such as economics, trade, investment, culture, and education.
