In Uzbekistan, new social support measures have been introduced for military personnel, which include insurance payments in the event of injuries, disabilities, or death while performing their duties. The amount of payments will vary based on the circumstances of the incident.

According to the new regulations, military personnel who sustain injuries, concussions, become disabled, or die during a state of emergency or martial law will receive an insurance payment of 200 basic calculation amounts (BCA). This substantial amount is aimed at providing financial support to military personnel and their families in the event of tragic occurrences related to fulfilling their duties under particularly challenging conditions.

If an injury, concussion, disability, or death of a military personnel occurs during regular service or within one year after leaving the Armed Forces, the insurance payment will amount to 84 BCA. This measure is intended to ensure social protection for military personnel even after their service period, considering the potential long-term effects of their injuries.

The introduction of insurance payments for military personnel is a significant step in the social protection system for military personnel in Uzbekistan.
