In Russia, the first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Konstantin Zatulin, responded to the Uzbek politician's proposal. According to Zatulin, the authorities in Uzbekistan are unlikely to endorse Kadyrov's suggestion.

Zatulin believes that Kadyrov made this proposal as a reaction to changes in Russia's migration policy. The deputy head of the committee emphasized that such situations are not beneficial for either country.

It is worth noting that recently, Russia has been seriously addressing the issue of migrants. The Russian authorities are attempting to tighten laws regarding migrants, which in turn has led to criticism of this policy.
