Tashkent plans to name a street after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The mayor of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov, met with the Turkish ambassador. Ambassador Olgan Bekar discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries with the mayor of the capital.

During the discussion, it was noted that Uzbekistan plans to expand Turkish schools and name one of the capital's streets after the first president of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Additionally, a Turkish garden is expected to be constructed in the city.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to implement the agreements and strengthen ties between their peoples.
