The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced personnel changes in the Syrdarya region. According to the official statement from the ministry's press service dated December 25, 2024, Ziyodbek Saitbekov has been appointed as the head of the Main Department of Employment and Poverty Reduction in the region.
Previously, Ziyodbek Saitbekov held the position of deputy head of the Syrdarya regional branch of the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan. His experience in this field, which involves interacting with the population and addressing social issues at the local level, is believed by ministry representatives to enhance the effective execution of the tasks facing the Main Department.
The appointment of the new leader is expected to provide momentum for the development of employment and poverty reduction programs in the Syrdarya region.
Among the priority areas for the Main Department are assistance in employment for citizens, promotion of entrepreneurship, and support for socially vulnerable groups. In the near future, Ziyodbek Saitbekov will begin his duties and present his action plan.
