In the main event of the tournament, former world champion in the super welterweight division, Uzbekistan's Israil Madriymov, was set to enter the ring against Ukrainian representative Sergey Bogachuk.
However, as reported by the head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, on social media platform X, Madriymov will not be able to participate in the fight due to acute bronchitis.
He will be replaced by British fighter Ishmael Davis, who will compete on December 21.
Previously, Madriymov noted that his primary focus had been on preparing for the fight against Bogachuk.
Now, Israil will fight on February 22, 2025, against Vergil Ortiz.
