Guardiola shared his thoughts on Husanov following the match against Chelsea.

"Do you know how many central defenders make the same mistakes as Abdulkodir? I’m not going to blame him. Rather, we should criticize ourselves for still making such errors. Defenders simply need to keep working and improving their game," said Guardiola.

The coach emphasized that he did not criticize the player either personally or publicly for the incidents that occurred during the match against Chelsea, and he does not intend to criticize players who are just beginning to adapt to the team.

"Let’s be honest – he needs support. I would want help if I were Khusanov debuting in a new country, in the Premier League, in a new team where the communication is in a different language. Right now, Khusanov is doing well; he has been training hard. He is attentive and focused," noted Guardiola.

The 20-year-old Khusanov, who represents the Uzbekistan national team, made his first start for Manchester City in the match against Chelsea. Just two minutes into the game, he made a mistake that led to a goal, and four minutes later, he received a yellow card for disrupting an attack. He was substituted in the 54th minute.

On February 2, Manchester City will play away against London’s Arsenal in the 24th round of the Premier League.
