The nominees for the title of Uzbekistan's Best Footballer of 2024 have been announced.

The Uzbekistan Football Association has announced the names of the candidates for the title of the country's best player of the year.

According to the association's press service, 14 players will compete for this award in 2024. Out of the 14 candidates for the title of "Footballer of the Year," 13 are members of the Uzbekistan national team, with the only exception being Anvarjon Khojimirzaev, a forward from the Dynamo club, who was not called up by head coach Srecko Katanec.

Here is the list of players vying for the title of Uzbekistan's best footballer in 2024:

Abbosbek Faizullaev (CSKA, Russia), Khusnidin Alikulov (Rizespor, Turkey), Abdukodir Khusanov (Lance, France), Odil Hamrobekov (Navbahor), Abduvahid Nematov (Nasaf), Jaloliddin Masharipov (Persepolis, Iran), Akmal Mozgovoy (Nasaf), Oston Orunov (Persepolis, Iran), Anvarjon Khojimirzaev (Dynamo), Jamshid Iskanderov (Navbahor), Eldor Shomurodov (Roma, Italy), Otabek Shukurov (Al-Fayha, Saudi Arabia), Utkir Yusupov (Navbahor), Sherzod Nasrullaev (Nasaf).

We remind you that in 2023, Abbosbek Faizullaev was recognized as the Footballer of the Year in Uzbekistan.
