The 2023/24 season has been the most successful for the 23-year-old footballer. He scored 24 goals in 39 matches across all competitions, becoming a key player for “Real Madrid.”

Among Vinicius's key achievements are the decisive goal in the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund and a hat-trick in the Supercopa de España final against Barcelona. Thanks to these successes, he became the first Brazilian to win the award since 2007, as well as the first recipient of the trophy in its current version - The Best.
